    LED HVAC Bulbs?

Do they exist? My left bulb is out and was about to order a couple replacements (might as well do both). Also noticed there appears to be a bulb out near top of speedo. It lights, but dimmer than surroundings.

That link to a 2721 bulb isn't exactly right.

It takes a 2721MF, which comes with a carrier. The 2721 bulb is permanently attached to the carrier and can't be replaced.
    Some info here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...ght-bulbs.html

They are available in LED versions, but are not very common. Just search around on ebay, amazon, etc. for "2721MF LED".

I apologize. It's been a few years since I have been in that part of the car. I just looked over this thread:

And it looks like your original recommendation was correct.

I was thinking of instrument panel lights.

As far as I know the HVAC bulbs are non-LED replaceable. I have one on the shelf I'll snap a photo of but the socket is not standard and I believe is only on the BMW normal bulbs

I bought one, too, but it's easier to post a link to its picture than to take one.
