S50/S52 M50/M52 valve spring compressor.. any interest?

Back a year and a half ago i made my own Valve spring compressor to do my valve springs and valve seals on my car. I have made a few more tools for people that are going to do their own work.

I am in no way a professional tool maker, but what i made works and is a much cheaper alternative to the $400 BMW tool. The tool compresses 2 valves at a time to release the valve locks.

it works great and is very simple to use, as you can see it utilizes 2 of the stock stud head bolts, under the top plate is a welded nut that when the bolt is turned, presses the top plate against the nuts, and the bolt presses the bottom plate down evenly onto the valve springs to release the locks. the plates are 1/4" thick steel and grade 10 hardware

The best is lever action, like using a big drill press as the lever so you do not have to twist down 24 valves.

Can be, however this keeps the springs down without using one hand on the lever and the other trying to get the locks out, allows you more freedom. I ran into a few locks that were stubborn in releasing and needed both hands to get them loose using a magnet and a pick. This also lets you collapse the valves to your desire to aid in that where as the lever has a set depression squash area, this is adjustable.

also since this is 2 springs at a time, you're only doing it 12 times not 24 with other tools

I bought the lever type spring compressor and while it'll do multiple types of heads this looks so much easier to use! And it's the same price as the one I got.

Bought this off the op and works great!! Fast shipping. It's probably easier then the real tool (first time pulling valves).

Here's a tip, if the valves don't release from the spring right away, put slight pressure on the valve with you fingers if still an pain, back out until it's uncompressed then tighten it up again eventually it's break free!
