hi there,
will buy a 325i and join this fantastic club next week!
now i am think pick one of the above two colors, wondering which one do you
think would be cool. i think the mystic blue is better for a 27 boy, what you think?
anybody got a picture so i can put them side by side, that will be great!
thanks yall for this great community (i've been reading for a week)
I have mystic blue and its a hot color. Get mystic blue and replace the orange blinkers with clear ones, including the side markers and you have a sick looking car.
well, you know what, i think the default color configuration (either blue or silver) is cool enough.
don't want to be so fancy to get police patrol car's attention
MYSTIC BLUE!!!! Everyone has silver, who has mystic?

2004 Silver Grey Metallic 330i ZHP
mystic blue... silver of any kind is overplayed..
Don't like my driving? Get off the sidewalk!
Mystic Blue is beautiful. But like any dark car, like black, etc, it's more work to keep it looking gorgeous all the time, shows lots of dirt, dust, pollen, and scratches, swirl marks, etc....
Silver is easier to care for. So if you're lazy, go for silver. If you don't mind a little more elbow grease here and there, go for the gorgeous Mystic Blue!
Thx Mach330! I got lots of wow looks when I picked up my car
Yeah, I agree with SilverStreak. Mystic Blue if you don't mind cleaning/waxing your car every 2-3 months or so, and your dealer has free car washes for the life of the car!! Silver if you are lazy and don't have access to a cheap car wash or water hose.
BTW, mystic blue looks like da bomb when the sun shines down on it!
mach300 thanks for yor beautiful pictures and
thank you all for your great thoughts!
i think that i will settle down with mystic blue with
sand/brown interior.
silverstreak, the red car in your post almost made
me want to go with the red
I've never had a red car before this one, it's the Imola Red, a special color usually reserved for M cars only, so I couldn't resist...
mystic blue is one of the worst colors. Its almost as bad as orient blue. almost
what about the electric red, which is one of the 3 standard color, is itOriginally Posted by SilverStreak
as good as your Imola Red?
By the way, what is the difference between the stardard color
and the metalic paint?
you think it looks worst or something else like it is hard to clean a blue car?Originally Posted by potpie
please be more specific. thanks a lot
Metallic paint has some glossy/shiny metallic flakes/granules thingies (technical term) in it, the non-metallic doesn't.
If you get a chance at the dealer sometime, look at a Jet Black car and a Cosmos or Sapphire Metallic Blakc car, you'll see the difference.
The Electric Red is similar to the Z4 red, it's brighter, more organge in it than Imola, which has more a deeper blood red to it...
i think it looks the worstOriginally Posted by dancingforum
alright, I am going to the dealer and check it AGAIN!Originally Posted by potpie
if i feel the same thing, i will turn to the metalic red, thanks
Personnaly, I prefer the Topez Blue. When I went to get me 04 325i , I saw a Mystic Blue next to a Topaz and there was a big difference. Unfortunately, Topaz is no longer available so I ended up with an 03 left-over. Plus I saved some money.
Alright, finally, I nailed down the deal.
Silver with leatherette, power seat, moon roof,
manual transmission.
the dealer can not find me any car with the leather,
no mystic blue either. So had to go with the average
popular, not eye-catching silver and switch the leather to the moon roof. Sort of did what you
guys suggested : relax my specifics.
Paid $200 over invoice and $298 for getting the
car shipped to my local dealer. I think it is not
a bad deal. It will be here next Tuesday or so.
Will post a picture when I got it.
Again, thank you guys for helping me out! Glad
to be a member of this fantastic club!
