This is a weird problem I've had for a while now even before my engine swap. Sometimes my lights inside like the speedo, temp, etc. will go out for no reason at all. Usualy if they come on when I turn my car on, they'll go out when I punch the gas...weird. I checked the fuses, they're fine, I moves some wires around behind the instrument cluster and that did nothing. What could be the problem? Thanks if anyone can help.

It may sound like your dimmer switch is loose. The potentiometer in not making a good contact. Try to disconnect the pot and measure the resistance. By turning the pot from min to max setting. You should get a reading of o ohm to k-omhs. If the reading is high open on all settings then you need to replace your dimmer swtich. Ask an Electrician to help you with the problem.
