I think ethanol is good for farmers and potentially the economy, for cars not so much.

Also please help, my valvecovers are still fricken leaking. I originally changed them with fel-pro ones. That was a mistake, put the oems in there still leaking. Im assuming its my bolt grommets as they are oem and the bolts don't seem to tighten just bottem out. The old washers are not allowing adequate torque i presume.

The acorn nuts will bottom out, don’t crank on them too much, you’ll pull the studs out of the tops of the cam caps. I have spares.
Philly was adding wave washers to the regular washers for a little more clamping force.

Probably 1/2 the price but your VP has a higher octane rating. The stuff I’m getting is only 91 or 92 octane.
We’re a mile high here so we supposedly don’t need as high octane as at a lower altitude.

I'm assuming its the grommets, they are plastic at this point. I'll keep in mind not to reef on them too hard. I have a bunch of bolts laying around, i horde them from junkyards.

I did all the timing work this summer on mine. Had replaced the VCG with victor reinz the summer before and they were leaking. I tried Fel Pro this time but I also used the Permatex gasket dressing (85420) and cupped washers on all the nuts. ~2500 miles and no leaks as of yet.

All I found where in Europe, which I don't know if airbags can be shipped yo the US? Prices are reasonable.

E36 M3 wheels should work on your car, but you will need to find the buttons for the radio, phone, cruise controls which aren’t hard to find. There’s a set selling in my local Craigslist for like 10 or 20 bucks

It's been a long time since I've been in the e39 forum, miss u guys.

I recently bought an e32 to try that out. It feels like an XL e34... the space is comparable to an e39 though. The body feels a little narrower and a bit longer. Here's some recent videos I uploaded on it, I sold my 530i last year.

Unfortunately, I've not done a damn thing to it since the Spring. It will be getting a new radiator and expansion tank next week as they are original, and the plastic side tank on the radiator sprouted a pin hole leak.

Installed new Lemforder sway bar end links and mounted the winter wheels since the temps are gonna stay below 45 for the next few weeks.

Broke a bottom strut mount at the knuckle. Bolt is sheared off and stuck in the knuckle assembly ��. Time for everything to be taken apart and a full suspension build. Probably gonna get some bilsteins and muttle through some cold weather driving.

They tried telling me they smelled burning oil when the guy was driving it around the parking lot. Pshhh.. Whatever.

Lovingly admired the rear view as I passed by on the way to work on the Boxster. The 540 is next in line for winter service as I accumulate cooling system parts. I only need a radiator and water pump to begin work.

My heat stoped working..... the stupid stratification knob wasn’t going to full red, after work today, I froze my butt off by pulling the glovebox out, the typical out of position nylon gear wheel had slipped out of adjustment. All fixed, the heat works, I’m happy..... now.

Repaired the motion sensor bracket and got it all cleaned up to enjoy this weekend.
