Only need to send it in for certain things, like m5 cluster lights and other repair services like ews syncing/virginize or complete EWS removal.

Excellent to know. I'm assuming that when those emissions systems are tuned out, it's transparent for emissions inspection. In upstate NY where I am, our inspection includes being hooked up to a scan tool that Albany reads and gives a go/no-go on in real time. Long as they see those systems with a green light, I'm in.

Ok great. My inspector is a friend of mine. The code scan is the only part of the inspection that's out of his hands. I'll ask him if "extra" N/A monitors are an issue (i.e., will it raise a red flag if a 2003 has N/A for its cat efficiency monitor) and will go from there.

Got my bank-2 upstream O2 sensor replaced, and replaced all spark plugs, found out a lot of burnt/build up on O2 and left spark plugs, must be leftover from bad fuel because car does not burn any oil at all,
car runs very smooth now, also putting new OE MAF as well just in case, why? Because I wasn't sure what's making "lean on/off idle" , and few months ago I had MAF code once as well, so might be the sign of a bad MAF

i did the same thing nordman and it was one of the best things ive ever done to restore power and running quality... fuel trim sensor replace (MAF AND o2), its like going to FI when the sensors actually need replacing....

I attempted to do the headlight adjusters on my late production 02, I tried baking them with no luck unless 200 for 10 min isn't long or hot enough. The ship in a bottle method blows... Messed with the high beam adjuster for 3 hours trying to get it in with no luck. Got pissed and decided to call it a night before I threw the Damn thing.

Thanks for the offer Aryan, I felt like I almost had it a few times last night but I couldn't get it perfect to get the adjuster screw to go in but it felt like it was in the right spot. Just so I'm sure I'm doing it right, the flat part goes towards the wall of the light and on the high beam side correct?
