There’s a great thread on E46fanatics somewhere that actually shows several revisions of the Üro premium regulator with a Üro representative.

Installed my Dinan exhaust the other day. Messed with the alignment over the weekend numerous times. (Should’ve known my mounts would be collapsed from the heavy factory exhaust). Ordered new mounts and will get it perfect once and for all.

Anyway, after that, washed it and drove it all weekend. Great sound. Very very very subtle from inside the car. I’m happy with it.

Have to park far away from everyone here in Florida to avoid a geezer running into you.

Did you paint the diffuser or did it come black? I keep debating if I should paint mine or not.

I say do it. Gives the back end a better look, especially on a silver car like yours.

I painted it satin black. Hard to see in pictures with anthracite but I think it makes the back look better.

On a TiSi car I’d definitely go for it.

This is the best pic I could find

Got the Üro premium regulators in today. Would swap them in, but I'm still waiting on new vapor barriers. Want to replace those as well when I replace the regulators. Maybe sometime next week.

I have been getting a low RPM hesitation, and i had a cylinder 7 misfire in the memory when I scanned OBDII. I changed all 8 plugs, and it's greatly improved. I still get a very slight hesitation. I'm gonna buy a new coil for #7. It was good to turn the wrench! I haven't had many issues lately!! knock on wood

Car wash, cleaned the wheels (with brake cleaner in some spots), air filter, cabin filer, replaced a set of xenon headlights, and installed a little factory BMW bumper lip- that I didn't even know existed- for my E39's "Sport" bumper.

the adjusters in my xenons are still broken, I gotta figure out a way to take care of that. They are bright, but point nearly straight down to the street. I find myself using my high beams a lot.

Finally got the OEM bicycle carrier mounted to the roof rails. Hope to get in a wee bit of fall riding. Lady’s bike up there for test fit.

Busy few days. Sunday I got rid of the older style accelerator pedal and potentiometer (it crapped the bed a week ago), and installed the updated pedal with the floor mounted sensor. While doing that, I also replaced the hood release cables, the brake/clutch pedal covers, and the original busted dead pedal.

And today I replaced both rear window regulators with the Üro premium regulators. So far so good. With the panels off, I also cleaned up the wiring for when I retrofitted the E38 illuminated door handles, then replaced all the door panel clips on both panels. So no more annoying rattling in the door from broken clips. They both have that nice solid thunk sound back when you shut them. Front doors will be attended too soon.

Washed and clayed the car, then broke out the Porter Cable 7424 random orbital buffer and attempted to get rid of the swirl marks / water spots that have I have never been able to remove. I've tried a number of different products but mainly Griots Garage polishes. Not impressed. This time I tried Menzerna based on a few threads from members of this forum. Worked like a charm with minimal effort and time. Before and after pics attached. I should have followed up with a finer polish but didn't have time so I just applied a coat of carnauba paste wax.

Which Griot's Garage polishes? Their new "BOSS" polishes are supposedly pretty good. Haven't tried them myself, though.

Water spots are a PITA as they etch the clear coat. Sometimes you've gotta go to wetsanding. See Ammo NYC's videos.

I have the Griot's Boss polishes/compounds and use them with the corresponding pads. The result is pretty darned good.

Ordered all four new control arms and center and outer tie rods for the front end. Ordered new Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires, too. I’m at the wear bars on my PS4Ss after about 17,000 miles. I’m hoping the AS4s last longer, and my driving habits are much more daily and highway oriented these days. I’m not canyon carving every weekend anymore

Depends on driving habits really. The 500AA rating is nice though

You'd be surprised how good the all seasons are for mild canyoning. I didn't even realize the AS4 was out. Just put AS3+ on one of the F10's

Yep, the AS3’s are on sale at tire rack, $123 for 235/45/17, got a set yesterday for one of the wagons.

My rears AS3’s are down to the ware bars with only 11K on them. The tread ware is even across the whole tire. I haven’t been beating on them either, thought I’d get more miles than 11K.
Thanks for that Tire Rack info, the 255’s are $140 each.
    What’s different about the AS3 and AS3+?

Just checked Tirerack. 275-35-18's are $247 ea. No real deal in this size. Looks like new AS 4's are now out and they are actually less in my size.

I have had the AS3 and AS3+'s. I think the AS3+'s are a little better and wear a little longer too. I can rotate, so I can get a bit more miles from a set.

I usually get Conti DWS but the price on those AS3’s were too good to pass up. I was gonna get a couple of 275/35/18’s for my M5 rims, but yeah, no deal on those sizes, I’ll just get them some other time. I did get a set of DWS06’s for the Mini, should be better than those Potenzas that I’ve had on it.
Tire Rack also had deals on Hawk Talon rotors and ceramic pads, got full sets for the green wagon and a full set for the Mini.

Just got my parts list and figured out lots of questions I've had.

Valley pan gave up the ghost.
    Manifold gaskets leak.
Power steering system leaks badly and is very loud.(crappy reman pump)
Heater control valve no workey workey.
Some sort of drivetrain whiplash (probably diff bushings because its the only thing I HAVENT changed down there)
    Still on factory guides.
    Pads and rotors.
I got felpro Valve cover gaskets like a dingus and they leak severely.

Disgusting! Very very dirty. Also I don't have any of the parts. I did this to get a list of everything thats leaking. Broke a vacuum fitting off the front of my manifold not happy about that. Dumped sand in the valves that was under the manifold i couldn't clean. Got 95% of it out and I don't even care if it trashes the motor, ill just put another one in. Im angry at it.
