East Bay - SRS Code reader/reset tool?

I was just wondering if anyone local has the SRS read/reset tool? I have an airbag light that popped up and want to see what it is so I can troubleshoot it.

    Thanks!

Fix an airbag light by removing the bulb, and then filling the chamber in the gauge cluster with caulking if your's has the second hidden bulb that lights the hole dimply even if the main bulb is removed. Seriously, airbag nonsense on these cars is mostly a worthless headache to try to correct.

My airbag reset tool did not work for some other forummers' (?) 3.0 Z4, but it might work for your 3 series since it's a slightly older car.

(He saw this thread, saw that I had the tool, and asked to try it out, it failed.)

I know it worked for my 2000 M Roadster, thru the 20 pin connector under the hood.
