Hi Guys,
I got some E46 power sport seats (non heated) a while back and they will be going into our E36 convertible.
What I'm having a tough time figuring out is the wiring. I was hoping that you smart E46'ers could help me out
Issue #1:
The seat back has two connectors coming down from it. One is a 6 pin and one is a 3 pin. I can't figure out where these go...was thinking under the seat base but I can't figure it out. I don't think they go into the main connector...
Issue #2:
I'm also trying to figure out what exactly I need from a parts E46 to make my jumper harness (this is the end goal). Is there just one connector that plugs into the 'main' connector? I think I've found a pinout for this a few times but I can't seem to find the actual harness I ened.
I believe I have just power, ground, and power for memory to actually plug in. I know I will NOT be using the tensioner on the E46 seats. The occupancy sensor I'll be figuring out as i move forward.
Any help is appreciated!! I really want to avoid splicing and would love to build a jumper The E36 community has lots about E46 seat retrofits but not a ton about the wiring (at that point it usually turns into a shit show about using the tensioner or not lol).
Thanks Guys!
-Eric
