    M62B44 DME Pinout

I have searched high and low and cannot find a DME pinout. Non TU M62B44 Manual 5 port DME.

I have found a few old threads a decade or so old that 'had' the pinouts but the servers are offline.

Does anyone have a link or text to the pinout? Specifically for the X6004 40 pin?

I would tell you to go to BMW Planet for WDS which has all the OEM stuff spelled out crystal clear, but at least for my Chrome install, they have finally nuked old Java compatibility so the site doesn't work for me unless I go load some old or weird browser that will let me use F#$)$*&ing Java again.

If you have an old browser that still works w/ the site it will have all the answers for you...

I looked on my WDS disk, no info on the 5.2 DME.
Bentleys has info on the 5.2/5.2.1 DME wiring however it's not neatly shown by module like it's shown for the ME7.2 DME.
I'd imagine the wiring between the 2 must be pretty close. (Bentleys page ELE-340 to ELE-343.
Specifically what components that are wired to Module 4 are you looking for?

Cmart, I’d hate to bring up your old post. But I’m doing an M62b44 swap into my e30 and I’m wondering what you were able to find out about the 4th pin for the dme. The harness I received with my motor is missing the x60004 (the 4th plug slot on the dme) and I’m wondering where it all connects to.

Click a few times to fully zoom in.

x60004 from an 1998 BMW 540i. I tried searching up an '97 but they only had x6000 and x60003 locations. I couldn't find x60004 there.

The engine harness isn't supposed to have that x60004 plug. That plug comes from the chassis
