Style 32 in Chrome Shadow

Does anyone have any photos of Style 32 wheels finished in Chrome Shadow (a la the second version of the Roadstars on the 2001+ M Roadster and Coupe?)

My wheels are in need of refinishing, and I've always thought that chrome shadow would be a great finish for them on my silver car.

So, does anyone have any examples? And does anyone have a recommendation as to how to get them refinished (powder coat, paint, etc)?

Thanks for that. They don't look all that dark (compared to what I imagine the real chrome shadow looks like).

What did you tell the powder coaters to get the finish?

From what I am hearing in e39 community, there are very few places that can replicate the finish accurately, so I think you may have to start with finding a shop that will do it right first.

My rims are powder coated. This is the best way. My wheels can be very dark - it depends on the light intensity and angle of its incidence. The film does not do this ..
