My mom called me late last night about her car not starting and decribed the symptoms of a low or dead battery. I told her to get a new one and the and she did today and apparently the old battery was from 2004 and worked flawlessly until now.

Not unpossible. Especially if it was an under the seat battery and especially especial in a mild climate.

Saw some weed in a bag on the ground next to my car when I came out of a Burger King today, enough to get charged with intent to distribute. It was free weed but it was on the ground which was dirty, quite the dilemma but I passed. Love driving through these trashy areas, always something different.

Based on wheels looks like an F10. Possibly an F30 but the wheels look pretty big.

    Nah that's an F30.

When I was in High School I worked at a WAWA. Basically a convenience store for non East Coasters. It was in a shitty part of town and we would find drugs on the floor INSIDE the store all the time. Heroin, weed, crack you name it. People would walk in with a joint rolled up in their ear lol.

Must have been a significant bag if it was enough to be charged with intent to distribute.

Tad bit bigger than 2 bags of those poppers you throw on the ground and explode.

Does anyone know if BMW still sponsors the Susan B Komen Drive for the cure? I used to love spending the afternoon testing driving the newest Bavarian offerings

mboor, I don't think so. I'm a 10-year CCA member and haven't heard of this happening in ages. I used to participate every year, driving cars from the dealer in Natick MA to one in Springfield, about 90 miles distant. I used to get an email prompt from my local chapter regarding signing up. Hasn't happened in years. No ads in Roundel or the Boston Chapter magazine either. Local dealers may still do drive for the cure, (local test drives), but the long-distance shuttle thing seems to be history.

    Hellcat swap?

Today is the first day I have ever used the AC in the Corolla and I ever knew that car could get any slower.
