And the first E34 was made 26 years ago, yes? (Not sure if there was a 1988 E34 in the U.S.) What I meant by my "much older" comment is that the E28 feels farther removed from the E34 than just one generation. Almost like there should be an intervening model. You can see more of the E12 in an E28 than you can see of the E28 in an E34. It's the same with the 3-Series; the E21 and the E30 are an evolutionary progression, but an E30 looks classic to me, while an E21 just looks very old. Just a subjective impression, not a criticism really.

Now that's a beautiful car right there.

You can learn a lot from Walcreatures. I learned the "birds and the bees" from some dude's tattoo.

Did first fix on gf's e83 last night, ashtray lid wouldn't stay closed. Easy fix.
Still have to get the windscreen upper seal/trim replaced, install the aux in, and figure out how to take apart the business CD to try and get the stuck disc to eject and the mechanism to work properly again. No BT on a 2004 so a TCU swap might be in its future, and a few options like close windows from remote I'd like to code in.
i like it, might have to get one for myself, or an e46 manual wagon. Either would be fine by me.

Got a new job, a paid internship and apparently my new boss is a BMW fan so for half the interview we talked about BMWs.

Greetings retards. Just wanted to check in and share with you that I'm in the great state of Iowa celebrating the marriage of our best member: 93FIM5.
Congratulations Greg!
Hey! Congrats Greg. May the secks never stop
I was just looking at the "build Your Own" function on the bmwusa website. Building a 2015 535i. Am I to understand that no manual transmission is even available? The 8-speed automatic comes standard, and there seems to be no option to select a manual. I was resigned to this with the X-drive versions, but the lack of choice seems to be spreading. Not that I'd ever buy a brand new car of any kind again. But lack of choice on the new ones eventually becomes lack of choice in the used car market.
Oh, and congrats to the newlyweds.

Grats Greg!

Anyone got a lead on a 16" 1000 Miglia MMII wheel, preferably cheap?
Go ahead and bite. Plenty for everyone.
No but I'll keep my eyes open
I see them many many times on Faebook advertised for sale, but all of them would be in PA

Went to Cars and Coffee in Bethlaham PA. Saw some beautiful cars. Loutus Esprits Ferraris, GTRs old/new UGR Lamborghinis etc etc. Probably 500+ cars.
Ferrari 365 Daytona Competizone. This car was 5th Overall at the 1971 Lemans race in France. I heard it drive in. It was orgasmic
BJ and the Bear truck!
It was at the Steel Stakes. A closed Steel Mill built in the 1900s (Buddy's Evo for scale haha)
