Hey all,
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for being so awesome yesterday, and I enjoyed it immensely! It was great to finally put names to faces, and to meet new Coupers I hadn't chatted with before. The drive was incredible, and Dimi and I couldn;t stop smiling the whole time.
We threw all of our videos and pics into a quick vid...hope you enjoy it! I can't wait to see the footage from the pro photographers and drone!

Awesome vid! Glad you made it in time for the drive
Next year in Monterey is going to be EPIC!

Nice! Thirty-five (35) Coupes, is that a US record? Seems like there were forty-four (44) someplace (UK?)
I don't remember how many were typically at Homecoming in South Carolina; any statisticians in the group...?
Well in any case, that's thirty-one (31) more than I have here right now, but only twenty-nine (29) higher than my current all time best!
Excellent, thanks for posting! Looks like a beautiful area.
Terry
Looking forward to Mark's drone videos...! Just got home from seeing his LSB in person... pictures simply do not do that color justice!
Nice work on the video! I'm busy editing in the passenger seat on our way back to Texas. Should have a teaser trailer up soon and will have the full compilation up once I get some of Bobby's photos. If anyone else has raw footage (video or photos) they want in a full compilation along with my drone video...please send it to me at mark.rand@me.com.
Stay tuned...

Always looking for my next ///M Coupé...
Great video Dan, thanks. 35 might be the record for the most coupes on a spirited twisties drive. A couple of us opted out or woulda been closer to 40. Thanks for organizing the drive Sam!
Sweet video Dan! Loved seeing your car in person finally too. So glad I was able to make it down to Dorkfest '15 and can't wait for Monterey next year!
Dan, do you have an HD version of the video you could upload to YouTube?

Had an awesome time and a big thanks to Sam for organizing the great drive. We decided to take 33 all the way to 5 on the way back to SF today. It was a sweet ride for sure! Dorkfest 2016 will hopefully have more than 50 coupes....
So great finally meeting you dorks! Thanks to Rob and Sam for putting together a great time. Really enjoyed meeting some other LA owners including Robert, Allen, Sev, Jeff, Gary and Sam and Mr.Z3 representing the 805 (Oxford on Kyalami is actually pretty sexy!). Also great meeting Jon Martin, Jeremy (whose LSB is just stunning!), both Marks and...everybody was very cool, really (Nigel, Rodger, Scott...I know I'm forgetting many great people)! Finally knocked Hwy 33 off my Coupe to-do list...can't wait to see more video of us all up there!
Awesome video! Can wait to see the other pics and videos.
Thanks Rob and Sam for putting everything together. It was great meeting some new people, putting faces to known forum names and catch up with ones I've already met.
See everyone next year if not sooner!
It was great meeting up with old friends and making new ones! Looking forward to seeing moar photos and videos of the event. As usual, huge thanks to Rob and BMWCCA for planning, and Sam for organizing an epic drive!

Nice work on the video, thanks for sharing! It was a pleasure finally meeting many of you in person and reuniting with others. Rob and crew, can't thank you enough for putting together another extraordinary event. Well done!
My only complaint for the weekend... it went by too quick. See you all in '16 where we'll hopefully have a dakar or PY coupe to complete the color gamut and smash all previous attendance records.
Thanks for posting the video Dan. Very cool. I also really appreciate you coming to find me after the Canyon run to let me know Zebedee was leaking fuel. I''m perplexed, as I could certainly smell it, but could find no evidence of a leak and made it 400 miles home today without incident. I'll perform a thorough check before my next event. As always it was great to see everyone. You guys are the best! My thanks to Marty for getting the NorCal caravan together. Also special thanks to Rob, Delight, Sam, Mark R, Jeremy and Mr Z3. Your work for the 'collective' is appreciated.

it takes a team! Delight, Roger, Ian, Mark, and Rob all did an amazing job!

Nigel, sometimes when you have a full tank of gas and you do some twisties it'll smell like gas. Normal for Zs to do this. Mine did the same after tail of the dragon, I asked as well.
Thanks for sharing the video Dan! Thanks to all the organizers of this event.
Met a lot of awesome people and got to see their amazing coupes. It's awesome to match names to usernames. Really glad we made an impromptu trip to join this event.
Even driving back home without ac was worth this trip. Kaye and I plan on making it to Dorkfest 2016 (with ac)!

Great to meet up with so many Coupe owners. Happy our lowly Z3 slushbox could hang with the M Coupes on the twisties.
Will post some pics of the evergreen twins on the 33.
Great job by the organizers. Cafe Fiori was a good location to hang out, chat and gorge.
i am definitely going to add an M Coupe to the collection before Dorkfest returns to SoCal.
Great video and great weekend! Nice seeing many of you again and meeting new Coupers this year.
My boost mysteriously returned on Sunday so the ride home to San Jose was excellent. Waze suggested I circle around Salinas/Monterey traffic on 101 by taking 25 from King City to Hollister. Best suggestion ever. Great road... had it to myself. If one were up for, they could theoretically do 110 for extended periods and not see a soul.
Two casualties though... Wish that squirrel hadn't darted from the shoulder... and the C5 Z06 - good thing the boost was back!
