    You should be able to start the car but for the alarm - if you lift the passenger side carpet up with the trim plastic removed, you can access the fuse for the alarm. Mine went nuts and nothing fixed it, so I just disabled it.

    Locking and unlocking the car via the the key remote should silence the alarm - if the remote does not work then there is an emergency procedure to get the car running covered in the Owners Manual - but that is a last resort as it disables the alarm....
