    M6 Warning Triangle Alternatives

With the original OEM Euro M6 correct blue cased warning triangle pretty much unobtainable has anyone considered looking for one that has a similar sized case just not the correct BMW blue?

I've stumbled across a few on Ebay UK/DE that look like they would be about the right size. I'd rather have a red or green or yellow cased warning triangle in the spot rather than nothing.

The second picture looks very close to the BMW blue unit just has a yellow case. I would have to re-look but, I believe this one is a very inexpensive "universal" model.

The last picture being the correct M6 warning triangle for comparison and the one before that coming from a Euro Mercedes and just as expensive.

    Thoughts?

For the money I'd just buy this one but, the seller does not ship internationally. Any UK member that would help a US M6 owner out? I'd buy all three he has for sale if they were close o the same size.

My wife has one of the yellow ones in her car (her parents lived in Germany). It looks the same size as my M635 one. I can try it.

Thanks Layne. The yellow one appears to be more of a universal warning triangle but, what intrigued me was that it looked like it was very close in size to the one that came in the M6. Yes, the original would be preferred but, the yellow would look better in that space if it fills the spot rather than nothing at all. And you could always paint the plastic container blue or red or even leave it yellow. I am just thinking these may be an alternative. If you could measure yours and maybe post any brand name or part number if it is pretty close in size?

The yellow one is a near-perfect fit. Hardly any different than the blue one. The brand name on this particular yellow one is SWF but I assume they are fairly standard.

Good news. I still haven't heard back from the UK Ebay seller on his willingness to ship to the US. I even told him that I's buy all 4 that he has for sale. I'm not holding my breath.

Euro Triangle installed in my M6. It's a shame BMW didn't install these in all the M6s.

Well, now I know what those rubber straps are for in my M6. Dave, I thought you were selling your M6 to buy a Porsche or am I getting mixed up here?
