Fast forward 2 1/2 years and now at 56,000 original miles. Time to move, and sell this car. Seems like asking prices are all over the map.
I would classify this as better than the typical E36 Bring-A-Trailer car, but not good enough for EAG as I no longer have stock rims. All records from day one, super clean, not even a door ding, needs nothing.
Any ideas on what a fair price is ?

I know nothing about the car....
buuuuuut Id say 17-25 ish......you would need a really special/specific buyer on the upper end of course
assuming no issues at all....
and car needs about zilch
i wonder if EAG ever really gets asking...lol

2 1/2 years ago I read this thread and figured that in 2 1/2 years I'd be driving a 911 too, at least a 996.
2 1/2 years later I am still with my same M3
Good luck with sale, wouldn't mind a car like yours at all... especially the GT3!
What are you moving on to?

10 yrs ago I sold a 1970 911T, mint, 1 owner...... and figgered Id get another in 6-7 yrs or so............hrmmmmffff, not where the prices went Im not.........siiiiigh
Ok, about the range I figured. I'd sell this today for $22,000. Preaching to the choir but its worth all of that.
I recently acquired a E92 ZCP, which is amazing, wish I could keep them all, just not enough space!

I tried to be real......and I didnt want to offend.
I know the cars......and am in the market for one to track,......yours is too pristine...
EAG might ask 35 lol..........but if ez for you, u should call them...they may offer 20 right on the spot
sell the e92 if u still have the '11 m3.....
I have considered it, calling EAG. I was in the business for 20 years and don't do well with the BS game, so hesitant to even bother.
I love my Nascar V8-euro refined E92! The GT3 is for sale too, probably the track car you really should have

the v8 e 92 is sweet, yes.....I dont love the body...looks bloated
dont bother w/ the BS...just call....send pics.......they would love your car........if they buy it for 20 theyd sell it for at least 23
I became nationally certified w/ PCA, and my mentor had a 2007 gt3 rs.....and they make the "student" ( me) drive the mentors car all day...at the Glen.....wow, it was surreal....
but I prefer a less capable car that I can manhandle and that wont ruin me if I bend it...lol
Everything so far sounds like a high mileage E36 M3 that isn’t pristine is a desirable and enjoyable car. I should feel like I got a real gem in my garage!
GLWS. I’d call EAG see what they say. The E9x M3 does sounds awesome. I drove one once and liked it. I’d drive one but at the prices they are at...not far off a 997 Carrera. And a 911 is the dream car for me for sure, since I was a child.

I like the tint and the wheels since i have a 4 door twin almost.
I am Porsche obsessed and was in the market for a 996 when this M3 popped up so cheap I had to. Bought it as a back-up track car to my 944 didnt know I would like it so much now im dumping too much money into it.
Good luck with the sale I would try BAT..put a reserve what have you got to lose. For me $22k is really nice 996 or lower end 997 money but it takes all kinds.
-Josh: 1998 S54 E36 M3/4/6 with most of the easy stuff and most of the hard stuff. At least twice. 271k miles. 1994 E32 740il with nothing but some MPars. 93k miles.
EAG does not care what wheels are on your car.......you have a great car...and they can source wheels!!!!!!!...lol

If the car truly needs nothing, I'd say this link should be good inspiration...

I did speak with EAG, a week ago. They were a pleasure to deal with. Their initial number was close, but not a figure I was willing to agree upon. I don't have to sell the car, its more of a space issue.
On the wheels, I agree, let the new buyer deal with it. Car is for sale, however no ad up yet.
Id let it go for $22,000 today, as is. Hard to find a comparable sports car, in this condition and miles for the money.

I'd suggest buying a set of wheels and throwing it on BAT. People love to pay too much for cars on there. I'd bet it could eclipse 25k, even though I don't understand the size of the premium people pay for a being 30k less on a dashboard than the next guy.
the seller is a smart guy......he even said to let the next owner buy wheels
y r u dudes saying he needs to BUY wheels?......really?
any buyer will see its a wonderful car.......and they will NOT walk because of the wheels......sheeesh......no way
buy wheels????.........I wouldnt
asking like 43-5 ish.....yikes

This must be the cool kid club, where's the signup sheet. No way In hell I'm paying 20+k for these things when they stamped out so many of the E36 chassis. Literally no difference besides a vin. Got my zero rust flawless chassis 2 door e36 for 900$...... ofc she needs some work but holy cow! E36 is the new cash cow.
I'll edit this so I don't get flamed, I'm sure theres a lot of people that make money easier than I do so there is justification here.

I hear you man........
but the days of finding good solid e36m cars for 4-7k are about over.
sure there are some bargains out there...,
but I dont want to buy some non m e36 chassis and build up an M car.
