Sold the E92 ZCP, sold the GT3, bought a 997.2 Turbo S. The E36 M3 is so nice I decided I should keep it.

Ran great on the New Mexico Autobahn last week on the way to Santa Fe. This car can easily pull itself into self-destruction, amazing how hard the engine pulls at high RPM's.

    Cheers!

wow. that's quite the change! Congrats on the Turbo S and keeping the M3.

Why the change of the GT3 for a Turbo S?

You know the adage Life is Short & Variety is the spice of Life?! That was my driving force on the change from 997.1 GT3 to a 997.2 Turbo S

I live in a small town with a 4 mile commute to office. GT3 is a bull-in-a-china shop kind of car in this town, not that that's a bad thing! Owned it for 4 years, drove it all over the west , never tracked (closest Track is 5 hours away, would have but again too far). Made a difference deal of $4500 including CPO warranty on the Turbo S for 2 years.
For me it was a no-brainer. The Turbo is certainly different than the uber visceral GT3, however this Turbo S is un-godly fast, wicked jet fighter fast. Point & shoot. My girlfriend noted her favorite part of the car was how well you can pass. LOL The Prius you just blasted is almost 3/4 of a mile back by the time you get back in the lane and check your mirror.

I'll have another GT3, waiting for the depreciation to happen on the 991.2 GT3 manuals which admittedly will be awhile.

The E92 was a fun car from the perspective of Nascar, raw V8 power. I wil say the manual on that car is not well suited for the powertrain. Gas hog too!
Once I bought the Turbo S, it was like why do I need this? Been driving the E36 the last few weeks, just so good in every way, glad I kept it.

    Cheers!
