Hey guys - has anyone had a leaky rear end and fixed the problem themselves? I'm lookin at a '93 325, with some fluid around the diff. and possibly around the water pump. Any feedback would be helpful

Actually there are several spots that coud be leaking on the diff. It might be as simple as replacing the crush washers on the drain and fill plugs or the o-ring around the speed sensor. More difficult to replace are the seals around the pinion and the axles. You're best bet is to throughly degrease the outside of the diff casing so the leaky spot will be easier to locate.
