Thanks, appreciate it! Your car looks great too, wouldn't change one single thing about it.

    Thanks guys! Much appreciated

Wish I had some more updates but the wallet needs a break for a bit.

I did however receive a new ZKW lens, which had broken mounting tabs by the time it showed up at my door. Not sure if I am just extremely unlucky or if the stuff ZKW is making now is just crap. Someday I will have my headlight fixed properly, but it won't be today.

Good Advice! I sent ZKW Corporate a nice email about how satisfied I've been. I'm sure it will never get read, but it made me feel better

I tried to get some better pictures with the new wheels yesterday, a couple turned out okay.

Other e36 that I feel like I'm neglecting.

Finally changed my cabin filter. Not the worst I've seen but still pretty dirty and gross.

While I was under the dash I replaced my 5 1/4 speakers and tweeters in the doors. I bought Kenwood components. Install was super easy, the woofer's bolted right in and fit in the stock baffle and the tweeters fit in the stock tweeter grills.

    Link to Kenwoods: http://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-Kfc-P5...ponent+kenwood

Link to the 2 inch door drivers: http://www.parts-express.com/tymphan...ofer--264-1046

So all said and done I replaced all of the speakers in the front for $140. I don't know how it would compare to the BSW upgrade, but for the money I'm happy with it. Sounds WAY better than the HK stuff did and was a lot less expensive than the BSW's. Now I need to decide what to do for a head unit. I hate to go aftermarket but it sure is temping for the price and features.

Made use of my empty switches. I wired up my city lights to the red rocker switch and an electric fan override to the toggle. I'd like to get a euro fog light switch for the city lights at some point, and I had bought a nice push botton switch for the fan but it didn't fit. So these will do for now.

And here is what the city lights look like with the Amber LED's in them.

Looking great, thanks for posting the audio stuff. My car's audio is a complete mess at the moment, one of my future projects...

Thanks guys, looking forward to hopefully seeing both of your projects in person.

If your stereo sounds anything like mine did I think you would be happy with the same speakers. It's sounds much better and was pretty cheap compared to other options out there.

Thanks for the head's up. I actually looked on their website before and never saw them listed. From what I have found, nobody keeps the lenses in stock anymore and they are a special order from BMW. I'm at the mercy of Schwiedmann now unfortunately. They said they will get it replaced for me, it's just going to be a slow process

Contact Chris first and ask him, they might have some, worth a shot at least. I don't think they were ever listed IIRC....

I was on the hunt for zkw lenses and ended up scoring a set on craigslist. I believe they're NLA unless you buy the entire assemblies.

They were still in their original package and I only paid $90 for them

The last 6 posters in here, including myself, are from Washington :p

Wow, that's a great deal. Yeah, lots of Washington guys posting in here lately, that's awesome. It would be fun to coordinate a get together sometime!

The PO used some caulking to try and glue down the rear window trim

So $25 and ten minutes later...new trim! Wish more projects were so cheap and easy.
