Sharp looking car above.
The Foggy will be sailing thru the Panama canal to Santa Monica.
When we were there they were just finishing up the interior.
Here's a little more info.

The rigging is all controlled by electrically operated hydraulics, it has a 10KW battery pack.
The engine is a Volvo diesel.
Talking about that Porsche 918 I saw a white MP4-12C today on I540. Couldn't snap a quick picture but I'm hoping to see this car and the driver at the upcoming C&C this coming Saturday.
Jimlev, are you driving out to CO? I'm in Kansas City.
Got my avatar and sig pic while out in the Rockies last month. Fun no doubt, but I hate how the altitude robs the low-end torque. I suppose two kids and a wife doesn't help either.
If you cut south from I-70 in Kansas towards Colorado Springs via highway 40, there are desolate stretches of two lane highway with almost no traffic, very few cross-roads and visibility for miles. 120 in the wagon, top speed since I've owned it.

We're flying. It's too much of a drive for an 8 day trip.
Ya can't blame you there. I highly recommend the Royal Gorge if you will be in that part of CO. Did the Pikes Peak cog railway which was pretty good too. Wanted to drive it of course but took the train to the top for the kids' sake. Was going to drive it the next day, but the altitude kicked the kids' butts so we decided against going back up. Still got plenty of twisty mountain road driving between Manitou Springs and Denver.
What's up everybody.

My wife took my car in to get tires mounted on the new (to me) style 19 wheels, and then mounted on the car. Yes, I'm keeping the staggered 18" MPars for fun, but while I'm commuting in the 540i6, I figured being able to rotate would be nice.
Anyways, the following are some of the texts I just got from her:
"I love driving this car! "
"I love this sound! Such a good sound!!"
"Do I have to give it back to you?"

My wife thought my touring sounded cool with open headers. I remember the first time I fired it up in the driveway, neighbors were coming out of their house to see where the NASCAR sound was coming from

Hmm ... something about tourings and wives ..... maybe they like tourings ....
I've spent a lot of time in CO, we have a son that lives in Fort Collins.
A few years ago we spent 2 week to travel all over the state.
Not in order....Mesa Verde, Durango, Silverton, Independence, Royal Gorge, drive up Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek, Florissant, Divide, Cortez, Boulder, Crested Butte, Leadville, Breckenridge, Ouray, Montrose, Gunnison, Pagosa Springs, Buena Vista, and a few more that I can't remember.
Staying in Tabernash this time and will probably spend most of it north of I70 in the Rockies.
^ Brilliant.
