My friend has an m5 with a silver brembo/ dinan front and rear kit on it. He was looking to sell and replace with stock. Do you have any stock brakes to offer?
He has good pad life left but front rotors must be slightly warped as they keep getting minimal pad build up and pedal pulsation when warm.
I have to flash new evolve software on his car tonight or tomorrow so I'll let you know. Should've pm you but too late haha.

I have OE M5 calipers, brackets, back plates and pads but didn't bother to buy used rotors. Definitely let me know.

For people who like "how its made" type stuff, this is an excellent overview of tire construction. Amazing how much goes into a tire.

On sale for $1250 or so on overstock. Been eyeing it for a while but it's usually $1999. Thin metal but will be hard mounted and it's all welded construction. I will just use it to clean up the garage so that nothing will be out/all over the floor. Asim, it just so happens that the whole 9 piece setup is the exact width from those big water tanks in my garage all the way to the exterior wall (entire wall in front of the lift)

Love the aquariums also, absolutely beautiful. Must say, you've got good taste.

Very nice^
Thanks, Manny!
That is a nice garage get up Brandon. And, I have to agree, you have good taste. I used to have salt water aquariums too, so hopefully one day I'll be able to check out your place.
Nice 2002 Jim. Looks like a something Stuck put together.

What are the odds that the super ridiculously rare and detailed Autograph transkit for my 1/8th scale F40 would pop up for sale on ebay early this morning. #7 of 200 kits made (discontinued many years ago). Did some counter offering back and forth but was able to buy it. Check out how detailed this kit makes the existing 1/8th scale F40 kit!!!

Hey all, I never closed the loop on the e30 work I had done. In total I paid about $1,385:
$45 for a good condition coupe trunk lid off craig's list
$150 for new tail panel from BMW
$30 for misc parts from BMW (some new hardware, new taillight gaskets)
$1,160 for labor
- cut out, weld in and paint new tail panel. He had to to a bit of fabrication on the corners as some of the metal had rotted away to the point that there wasn't enough to weld the new panel to.
- r&r trunk lid, paint new trunk lid
- prep and paint trunk floor
- there was a bunch of body putty on the left rear quarter panel by the taillight which had cracked and was rusting through, he fixed that too
I removed all of the trunk panels and spare tire before I took the car to him.
I found the body guy on craig's list, he's an independent body guy that works out of a little shop. I took a gamble as quotes from other body shops were double or more and I just wasn't interested in putting that much into the car. He had a portfolio of work he'd done that I looked at. He had me meet him at his house to get a quote, that said a lot to me, seems to me someone that is shady would avoid letting customers know where he lives.
Anyhow, I'm very pleased with the results. The blending he did on the rear quarter panels is damn good. I did find a crack in the paint in the trunk channel, he said to bring the car back so he can fix it up.
Here's a pictorial re-cap:
(The trim piece above the bumper in these pics was not fully attached so it's not perfect)

What do you think?

Not sure I follow how he knew it was the exact same car. Either way you wouldn't think a little hard driving would damage a brand new M3, other than tire wear.
