I took some pics of kristaps' tube front setup today, I'll upload/try to post when I'm back to the safety of canadaland. It's pretty simple and cool and could be food for thought if you're still looking for ideas.
If you ask nicely, he'll let you get under it. I have pix from like 2 years ago under his car somewhere.

Did some of the talent rub off? Or did you rub off in it?

It's all good. I'd lick his taint if I got some talent from it.

He was in his trailer mentally prepping for qualifying when we were walking around so didn't talk to him just got a chance to look at it pretty close. It's cool. Looks like stock e46 power steering pump bolted straight to the head, because electric water pump and custom p/s pulley.
Nova, what lug bolt/spacer/lug stud conversions are you using? I'm trying to devise a set for my e46. Yours look like they might push the wheels out too far (or does the angle kit push them out super far?) on my stock fender'd e46, like your missile. any information would be awesome!
Also, I must say, I finally found the time to do a complete read through of this thread. What a journey it's been! The e46 was/ is a monster, and I'm sure you're piecing the front back together better than it was before. My one question about the LS swap, is did you absolutely have to go with a rear mounted radiator? The eventual long term plan for me is to have a Pro-Am capable car, when I inevitable blow my m54, I'll LS it.
Props on the thread, and the car. It's awesome!
oh, no way. I def could have a done a front mounted radiator (I am actually considering going back to a front mounted one now).
On which car? The LS car is an H&R 30mm spacer, the missle car doesn't have anything. Not sure what I am going to do on that yet, putting the coils on this weekend and hoping I can get away with just cranking the front ride height up for the time being.
Thank you!
oh, and they're turner motorsport studs on the LS car and ECS studs on the missile
yeah, and the wheels. The SLR Ultra arms are ~54mm wider than the e46 arms IIRC, and those wheels are 17x8 +20. The E46 wheels that came on my car were a +44 offset I think.

Is the lower cross-bar going to be able to use as a lift point? Or just to hang the radiator?
