At least you won't have to run those big ugly zestino decals this year!
I'm so happy the ASX was re-released
Gingerman is an awesome track, you'll definitely enjoy drifting @ Grid Life
Never posted a picture of the engine bay buttoned up
Got the car aligned Wednesday and unfortunately found some slightly bent parts, but nothing major. Looks like I am going to need some offset RTABs and a new SLR tie rod extension before the next one.
Started doing some prep on the car
Ready to spray, painting those 1/4s broke my heart
Really hard to capture this paint in pictures. I'm going to reassemble it tonight and get some better pics outside in the sun on Saturday.

Oh shit. Now I have to make it to gingerman to see this thing in person.

so, my secret which ive been keeping, but i havent bought yet is American Racing Torque Thrust. if you get on Summitracing you can get a 17x8+0 wheel in a 5x4 3/4 with a 72.6 hub bore for $160 shipped. or, you can buy the same part number on amazon for $133 shipped.
not sure if that helps, but its an idea. throw a spacer at it and there you got a -15
Man that's sexy. The bay and the new color.
pls don't ruin it with torque thrust wheels

Nice vid, but you forgot the shop christening donuts in front of it?!?! Until your shop sign front door and window is thoroughly splattered with tire particles, you aren't a real drift shop.
Does that work? I'm trying to either goad you into a video of donuts with that sick sounding mother, or at least justify it for you if you're already so inclined.
lol there's a little burnout in the video. My shop is in a pretty nice / well upkept strip with an HOA and some neighbors were already mad about an auto shop moving in, so I'm trying my best not to piss them all off haha
The burnout was great, but only fueled the fire to hear some more of that beast. Pleasegodonutssomewheredammit!
You definitely need a set of hot boi wheels to match the rest of the car lol. Also, your shop logo on the door looks super nice
Ironically, works with the other thread we have going on lol.

Nice Justin! I'd be happy with that for sure.

Yeah, and it sounds just fantastic. Some of the best sounds of freedom for sure!!
I don't see anywhere whether those are supposed to be at wheel numbers, or extrapolated to crank/BHP type #s?

Video shows him on an in floor dyno. So those are WHP numbers. Dynojets are also known to give lower numbers IIRC.

Not necessarily so about the WHP sir. Any chassis dyno can produce crankshaft/BHP numbers with assumed conversion factors, albeit not necessarily very accurate ones. Which is why I was asking. Those are great numbers for WHP IMO, especially at altitude...
Oh, and since I'm already being obstreperous, I think DynoJets are known for giving out cheritable numbers. It's Mustangs and DynoDynamics that are more known for breaking hearts with stingy numbers.
Not like I'm acrimonious or anything.

Glad to hear it! You certainly didn't seem that way to me, either.
Maybe we need to start a drifting forum thesaurus thread. Haha
get your big words outta here! From what google told me dynojets tend to read a bit high as they don't apply resistance beyond the rollers. I'm not a big numbers guy anyway so I don't really worry about it, I just want it running happy.
Had a friend come do some photos of the car. This is the preview, but I am loving them. Photographer is https://www.flickr.com/photos/waruitenki
I always get worried that when a car looks good, it won't last very long (for various reasons). Please take tons of pictures of this beautiful beast. May you never need to fondly look back on them.
