Hi,
While replacing my headlights in the '03 540it, I noticed this on the passenger side near the air box. I don't recall pulling it off anything but there it is, staring at me.
I have some other stuff I wanted to do under the hood today so if anyone knows what it is supposed to connect to or if it's a diagnostic terminal, please let me know.
Or help point me in the right direction to figure this out. Thanks!

Pre-wiring for forward-facing destructor beam option. You need the dilithium crystal power pack option as well for it to be functional.

that must be an Individual option...
There are times when I forget that you gurus have a sense of humor. This was hilarious and I love the replies.
Clearly none of you noticed the perfect trilateral symmetry for accepting the triple helix matrix for the flux capacitor.
Honestly, I'm going to have to pull the passenger headlight out and try and figure it out. It's killing me.
Check out the wire colors and look them up in the Bentley manual.
Hrm...I almost want to say AC pressure sensor connector? Or secondary air? Thems some thick wires

That'z no BMW plug.
Set the controls for the heart of the sun
It looks like the plug for the AC condenser fan (auxillary fan). Turn the AC on and see if the fan behind the front grill spins.
