So far they work in my 03 540i.
The only thing people would have to do is possibly swap the pins for the connector at the clock spring if the -/+ is working in the opposite way it should be.

Yup! Only for steptronic E38, E39, E46, E53. Not sure about Z's or X3's from that generation. (In conjunction with SMG /heated steering wheel Slipring and M3 Paddle shift steering wheel or that AMG paddle retrofit)

So... are we talking plug and play here if someone has the slip ring as well as the steering wheel? I believe you can also used a heated steering wheel slip ring like from an E38?

Yup, that's the idea. The only "mod" to the harness would be a pin swap if shifting is occurring in reverse pattern (but that's a 50-50 chance).

I think the E38 one could also work. I bought mine new, so i can't confirm.

I am on board for this, however the pricing may need to be a bit more attractive. Would you make them to order too?

    Awesome! I just bought one!

BTW....it said on there that you just do wiring. Do you have e39 heated seat wiring looms with connectors?

I just bought another E53 like a masochist! Have you any more retrofit harnesses I can buy? I've used yours before on my 4.6is.

    Thanks,

    Robb
