Hello. I live in McKinney and was thinking about starting something in this area that we had back east. Once a month or so, people that wanted to socialize, work on their cars and get help installing new parts would meet at someones house. Everyone would chip in with either money or bring something. Food for the grill, beverages, tools or anything else that might be useful are just a few examples. There would be weekends where we wouldn't even touch our cars, we would just hang out and talk cars or whatever and others where all we did was fix/replace stuff. I was an auto tech for more than 12 years and have lots of tools. If this sounds like something people would be interested in, whether it would be to host or attend, just shoot me a PM or reply to this post. I would love to get something like this going around here. I even thought a good title would be " Burgers, Beers and Beemers " ( super cheese I know ).

Hi ya PearsonII ! I grew up back up east as well, mainly in Annapolis for about 10 years. I can say I'm a native Texan though since I was born her, ha! Sounds like a great idea. I've just downloaded INPA/EDIABAS and quite a bit more software, however I've not had a chance to use it. I'm closer to downtown over by White Rock. But, no matter, you get used to doing a lot of driving just to go out to eat or something. Where'd you move from? BTW, I've a 2002 530i. Look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers,
Gary
Hello Gary. Nice to meet you. I most recently moved from Denver. Originally from Virginia though. How is your e39 treating you?
Is no one interested?
I am, new member. Joined just for this opportunity.
Good to see some interest. Welcome to the BF family
Sounds like a great idea..
Sounds like a good idea.
We could also use this thread to set up days and times for a more one on one discussion or individual help.
I'm about to pickup a clapped out E32 325is to use as a drift missile so I'd like to meet some fellow Beemer enthusiasts for wrenching parties (that is if drifting isn't looked down upon by y'all). I live in Denton, does anyone else live near me? Is everyone on Facebook? If so, we should create a FB Group.
I'm in McKinney too if anyone needs anything.
I think thats a brilliant idea. I also moved here from back east anf would love to participate.

ditto
Interested and in Denton. I have an obd1 e36 track car and will soon be adding a e34 or e39 touring for my wife.
Hey Vader, find me on Facebook, I'd love to meet a fellow Bimmer fan in Denton. https://www.facebook.com/thenudnik
my buddies and I have been doing this for years. I work in McKinney and live in Frisco. Give me call or shoot me a text and we can set something up. Friday nights and Sunday usually work best for most people. Heres a shot from the other night. My roommates M3 was missing in this shot. Hope to really see something come together.

Sounds like a plan
I think it's great to see some people starting to share in this thread more! Where in Denton are you located....approx?
I'm in Denton too near TWU. I just picked up a 2002 325xi. Anyone good with Paintless dent repair or can teach me some tips/tricks? I have a dent right below the drivers taillights.
Is there a Facebook Group?

There isn't a facebook group. The only place I know that does dentless paint repair is in Lewisville called Ace Paintless Dent Repair. (Also big Miata fans there.)
Im in. Out in Greenville, but its just a trek up 380 for me to Mckinney.
Anyone have an airbag reset tool that will work for 2002 325i?
I have one, I live in Princeton, it'd be cool to get together with some bimmer heads to wrench, I have a bunch of tools and space also if anyone ever needs any help
