    Great info, pics, and journalling! Something in your initial post (last year!) caught my eye - how are you getting 30 mpg?! Even long, steady freeway driving at 65 or so, I've never gotten better that a little over 25 in my 98 M Roadster.

    Cool. I'm happy to help; if you like quiet brakes I strongly suggest genuine BMW or Textar pads (Jurid might also be a good choice); the low-dust Centric pads I initially installed front and rear proved to be annoyingly noisy.
