If you want the proper shift pattern on an OE style knob, you can get a 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra knob.

    Loving this build!

Made some decent progress. 210mm diff is installed. Swapped to a four bolt input flange and made the driveshaft. Just waiting to press in the u joint with an arbor press at work on Monday. I normally just squeeze them in with a vise but the adapter from JTR is on the tight side. The Rally Road diff bracket fit great. I highly recommend their stuff. Started on the crossover pipe as well.

Considering my 15 month old daughter has more patience than I do, I took another crack at the rear u joint with my vise. With the aid of the smoke wrench, the heat loosened up the press for enough to get it done.

The offset of the CX racing mounts actually seems beneficial for driveline angles. So better fit in the engine bay without moving stuff, straighter driveline shot, dirt cheap, and two subframe attachment points per side. I'm glad so went this route.

Nothing groundbreaking. Just a simple expansion tank from spare parts I had. Attaches to some factory bracket that so can't remember what it's original purpose was. It will tee into the heater return hose.

Managed to get the drain sump mostly done. Still need to weld a -10 male fitting on. It fits a 1.5" valve over breather on the baffled tube. It's angled rearward and slightly canted toward the drain hole. Welded kind of shitty since my argon tank was on fumes but I didn't want to stop.

Crossover pipe done. Down pipe still needs the wastegate return.

Managed to finish the wastegate return, hot side charge pipe and start the cold side. Moving right along.

Where did you get the aluminum fuel pump setup? Is that a rallyroad item?

Yup, it's a Rally Road hanger. Very nice piece. I also used their diff bracket and full set of e36 reinforcement brackets.

Where did you get that radiator hose from? From the thermostat.

It's actually a factory 95 m3 hose that's been cut a bit from each end. It contorts a bit but doesn't collapse. It works well enough.

Back from vacation and back at it. Decided to go with a Volvo fan. Made an aluminum fan shroud and put the radiator back in for good.

It was leftover from a driveline I did I my old 65 mustang and I shortened it. It wasn't stock out of anything.

4" intake pipe fit perfect. Still will likely need a slight angle on the top side once I get the filter. Finished my drain sump as well. All I have left fabrication wise is the exhaust, last cold side bend and mounts for the scavenge pump and meth pump.

From there, wiring, some hose clamps and lots of tire smoke.

I'm surprised there isn't a searchable online database of stock driveshaft length and u-joint configurations. If there is, I'm not aware of it.

5.3L LM7 truck motor. Paying a premium for a car based LS motor with forced induction is a waste IMO.

Cold side pipe finished after stopping off on my way home from work. 2 bungs for meth nozzles and the AIT sensor bung are in the bottom side of the pipe, out of view.

Curious since you used a 5.3 were you able to use the truck accessories and intake?

No. That is all f-body stuff. I was able to source the intake and accessories for $500. I buy the motors from my local wrecking yard at $250-300 each, delivered.
