Perhaps a better chance for the Ferrari's to stick from bumper to bumper to the Mercedes at this track. It's a more power hungry track and there's no doubt that all the Merc powered teams and the Ferrari powered teams will easily pass the weaker Renault powered teams. Will Williams have a better chance this time just like last year? Who knows. They were pretty quick and were close to the Mercs last time around throughout the race. I think we might expect the same thing happening again with one or two Ferrari's thrown in the mix as well.

Let's post a pic of the circuit too:
Psyched for this one; it's a power track.

Wish list: Type 44 • Manta • Pre-'85 CGT • 405 Mi16 • SVX • W123 Coupe
Very simple laid out track, wouldn't you agree? Kind of reminds me of old F1 racing with fast corners and less technical turns. I wish we could see the return of such cool tracks from the past again.
Yep, very un-Tilke-ish. Reminds me a bit of Zolder or old Silverstone.

Like this one.
Merc 1-2 unless stupid
Williams says their updates will bring them very close to Ferrari but I think Ferrari will still carry an edge. So probably a Ferrari in 3rd unless stupid.
Hopefully we'll see a shake up in quali - thus allowing some people to be out of place - generating some excitement during the race. Like Lewis with brake failure during quali - would make for a interesting race.
Friend works for RBR. Should have a pic or two to post after the race.
Classification after FP1:
What happened to Vettel?

VET fastest in FP2, maybe we get a race this weekend?

I guess they were tinkering with Vettel's car in FP1. Clearly whatever they did seems to have worked OK.
Williams is pretty bullish too on their chances to mix it up at the front.

Vettel had gearbox issues again in FP2. Sensors alerting but Ferrari don't think they'll need to change a gearbox.
both McLarens get new Engine components. 20 grid penalty for Alonso probably 15 for Jenson.
Lotus looking quick but I think Williams were running heavy fuel.
Merc still favorite for pole with the Ferrari's behind. Probably Williams then Lotus but we'll have to see.
Ferrari switched on the Super Softs much better than the mercs. Possibly why the 11/1000ths for Vettel over Rosberg.
What a complete and utter disaster of a season for McLaren. I've never really been a fan but wow, what a craptacular situation they're in. They're the Knicks of the F1 world right now, and there's no draft coming.
Yeah Williams were doing their high fuel runs. I know this is mostly PR but hope springs eternal:

Alonso handed 20 grid place penalty for Austrian GP, Ricciardo has 10, Button may have quite a few possible too......
