    Zobelbraun Euro Shark Restoration

    Hi!!


    Back in January I bought a wrecked Euro Shark from a forum member in South Carolina.

    After analyzing what was needed to fix the car I started the restoration.

    Removed the radiator support and fenders.

    After correcting a lot of small dents and imperfections, the body is straight as an arrow.
    Note, this car has ZERO rust!!

    While all the external restoration was happening, I got busy refinishing 17" Style 5 and getting the suspension setup I will install.

    Well alright! Another Zobelbraun example. SWEEEEEET! I'm getting jealous Your work here is getting me inspired to continue my work to complete my Zobelbraun project. I have all the parts, but...no time, I have no time.... Really love your work here. Keep the pics coming on your project. If I can get off my @$$, I will share too.

    BTW, do you have Buffalo Nutria interiors? Please share interior pics. They are my number one favorite.

    We met at the vintage couple of years ago. Our cars were right next to each other. I am no longer living in NC.
    I sold all my cars before I moved down to FL.
    Found this car beginning of the year and up we go again!!

    Those interiors are very clean! Super example you have there. Also riding with my favorite MOMO Steering wheel. Awesome!

    Joel, do you work,out of a shop in Tampa? It would be nice to have your talents available if I should ever need repairs on one of my cars. I actually do need one of my Alfa hardtops repainted.

    I dont work in a shop. The pictures were taken by the guy who is doing the paint job for me.

    But I do everything else! If you need any help with anything just let me know!
    I will be swapping a M30B35 and a Getrag 265, but living in an apartment its going to be a challenge...

    Thanks for the reply, and same offer from me, if you ever need an extra hand. I'm an RN and work nights, so my schedule can be a bit different than most, but I only work 3 nights a week. One of these days I will have to see your paint guy about my Alfa hardtop. I need the color changed from white to silver, but the problem is none of the weatherstripping for the 3 windows is available. It's all in great shape, but the masking won't be an easy task.

    After the paint cured, got busy right away and wrap all the wire harness in Tesa high heat harness tape.

    Car came with different keys for the ignition and the doors. I decided to buy a new lock/key system.

    New lock set with new keys (Incl. Driver lock cylinder, passenger lock cylinder, trunk lock, glove box lock, ignition tumbler and 4 new keys)
