I'm having a very odd problem with my 2007 BMW 335i E90 with an N54.
At idle, I get a very slight stumble/shake every 5-6 seconds. It's NOT a very heavy stumble/shake and I just had a complete tune up done; coils, plugs, turbos and injectors etc.
I have no service lights on and no engine codes at all.
The car is not telling the computer anything.
I had it hooked up to a snap on OBD reader, checked the
spark plugs, coils and everything. Everything seems fine.
The problem does not effect performance or engine power
but I am now starting to feel this very slight stumble/cough/ shake when driving at around 30-45 mph ONLY SOMETIMES which I did not feel before. I had an idea that maybe the High pressure fuel pump is going bad but I have had no major symptoms of it. It turns on and cranks fine, I have no engine performance loss, Fuel trims are correct at idle and PSI Fuel Pressure reading is Fluctuating between 67-75 PSI(It was on Empty when I read the Fuel Pressure so I don't know if that matters).
I wish I was getting a code so I could figure this out.
I know it's not a major problem right now but I'd rather know. Has anyone had this issue before? Is it Fuel pump related or does anyone know what could be causing this?
