Thanks Rabbi, we might do business on a center cap if you think my design could be done well with your process. I'll PM you when I have a mock-up.
ADAz3M, I know what you mean. The car looks squished and dumpy in the first picture, the front wheel looks flat, and the headlights ruin it. In person it's a completely different story. I'll try to do a better job showing them off in future pics.

I had the same issue with my work equip wheels. The BMW fell right out. I added a rubber o ring around the back and now they fit perfectly. I don't know how far off you are but its worth a shot if it's close.

2004 Mini Cooper Chili Red, daily driver, modified almost daily
I haven't lost one in 4 years through daily driving or autocross. I can't say how it would hold up on the track as I run different wheels there.
Also, might be worth converting back to lug bolts just for the look. JMHO

love those shoes~
Ben,
Those wheels work very well with your car. They give the car a new look, a big improvement over the old wheels, which were already very nice.
I like the sidewall. What a difference in ride versus rubber-bands.
Good job, more pics are encouraged so I can add the best ones to the wheels thread.

Stuff. I got stuff.
Thanks Terry. With such a polarizing choice in wheel it is nice when people can see and appreciate the look I'm going for, and even like it.
I do plan on posting specific pictures and well-formatted specs to your wheel gallery thread so you don't have to run around doing all the work.
And I will post more pictures if people are that interested. I took a few dozen over the weekend. I am just starting to think it would be best if I took care of those hideous headlights before I went crazy with the pics. Let me see what I can do later on today.
I like it! I give you an A+ for originality!

Ben
I am not a real fan of the coupe... Sorry
I have always felt it fell short of the sleek classic lines the Roadster came with. But now, your coupe with those wheels hits a high mark in my book! It has the raw powerful look that reminds me of the late 60's early 70's muscle car era. Good meaty tires, white lettering and deep dishes. In my eyes you have found a wheel tire set that really makes the coupe look great.
Please post more pictures.

Tib, I guess I'm changing hearts and minds over here.
More pictures on the way then!
Frankly I'm surprised no one else has done it before me. But once the order went in, I started to worry someone else would beat me to the punch. Maybe someone considered them in the past, but never was able to follow through. Or maybe no one would put such ugly things on their own coupe. I found one post back in 2005 of someone suggesting Panasports on a Coupe, but it came and went without remark.

I.VANT. DOZ. VEELS!
I generally love Panasports- run 'em on my '66 Sunbeam Tiger- but I never thought about how they'd look on the M Coupe. Ben, I applaud your vision and tenacity!
Dude, Lakers.

Love love love the look. I love the Panasports and really like the fact you went with 17's and meaty tires. Leave them without caps, or get plain silver no logos so they disappear.
It took me two days to figure out what was missing.

Love the fit and execution. Especially in a 17 with those tire sizes but the wheel style isn't for me. I do appreciate the work that went into them as far as I know how stressful it was rebuilding ones I already had that trying to wait that long for ordered wheels must have been killer. Glad everything worked for you in the end to you liking.
