    Sparco R100 Install: Version 3.0

Version 1.0 was a Planted Technologies seat bracket w/ a cloth Sparco R100. That bracket is hot garbage and will never get the seat centered. I love the R100 but wasn't crazy about the cloth.

Version 2.0 was a hybrid of some cut-to-length steel and the factory seat bracket.

MUCH MUCH better ... BUT ... I sat a little over an inch higher and if I drove the car over bumps with the top up, my head would hit the top.

So ... here we go ... in search for a different option I discovered FreeCad and Laser Bro's (They are a local version of SendCutSend.

The idea here is to use the stock sliders (only the sliders) as well as the back/forth motor and ditch all the other hardware and bolt it all together with a laser cut plate. The end solution SHOULD result in:
    - The seat being centered
    - The back/forth function still working with the factory motor
    - The seat having a height that is similar to stock

That's a great idea, I think with that setup, you should be able to put any seat in that would physically fit.

You would definitely have some flexibility with seats. Your major limiting factor would be that the bolt pattern needs to not require that they bolt through the plate right where the sliders are. The R100 is actually placed just a few mm to the right of center because of this.

One of my favorite details about this is how the motor setup came out.
