    Does anyone else's 2003 M3 cab lack keyless entry because of the mirror? this is what the stealer told us
    any help apprectiated

    I think you are referring to the homelink system (for garage door openers etc.) ... and yes, convertibles need a special rear view mirror for that.

    As for keyless entry (in and out of the car), I believe all E46 models have that.
    Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?

    are you talking about keyless entry.. as in getting in/out of the car.. or like kevlar said with homelink?

    ALL E46s have keyless entry!
