I adjusted my headlights last weekend and was pleased by the difference when they all point in the right direction, but this is just next level.
Super nice 540/6!
Tasteful mods as well.
Good looking car although I think I'd match up the turn signal lenses to either all clear or all stock.
Are they steel or alloy wheel nuts?
Don't use alloy ones
Knocking this little project out today. All red tails.
Now the waiting game. Let the paint cure, light wet sand, and lastly a nice clear coat.

coming along nicely. Pardon my ignorance, but what is the difference between the 3.64 and the 3.15 lsd and why would it affect gas mileage?

That works really well with the Calypso paint colour
I am considering doing this to my stock housings so I can change them on the spot if I wanted to.

My Build Thread Part 1, Part 2
DIY E31 X-Brace Mod and Install
DIY Rear Seat Backrest Modification for E32 Armrest
Small update- Ordered some cool parts, including new UCAs with Moosehead bearings, a UUC DSSR, alcantara shift boot and e-brake boot made by fellow member Sriufke, rear seat belts covers, and (fingers crossed) an M5 shift surround.
Still need to install the 3.15 LSD, but will most likely wait until the control arms are delivered.
Also, going to look at an M62 short block next weekend, if its in good shape I'll pick it up and start gathering parts for a M60B44 build.
You're living my 540i/6 dreams, man! Exactly what I would do in your shoes. A new M5 shift surround?
Fixed the seat twist my passenger seat developed over the weekend, now I can relax a little bit.
