Jason, drove by your car yesterday in San Clemente. Looks nice!
246,823 miles - completed an oil service and changed my front sway bar bushings and end links. The old ones were beat!

Sway bar bushings make a huge difference. Nice work.

Closing in on 250k, nice. My ex-M5 is catching up
Says a lot about how clean and sorted the car is when you can start worrying about swaybar bushings, LOL. I assume no stroker progress lately since you didn't mention it? Still interested in FI as well?
I was at the machine shop a few weeks ago, went through all of the remaining parts and tossed a bunch of the M62 stuff. Haven't heard from the builder since, but I'm sure the motor is close. I took home the spare set of valve covers, throttle body, and intake manifold so I can get the covers coated, and send of the TB for port, polish, and rebuild.
Definitely still interested in FI, but I think I'm going to start with a wet nitrous kit (Talking to Greg to see if he wants to build a nitrous plate for the M60 application)
I really want one off these drivers glove boxes!
Over the weekend I spent some time taking care of some smaller things that have been bugging me for a while. My headlights that were retrofitted with TSX projectors started to build up condensation inside the lenses anytime it would rain hard or going through a touch-less car wash, so I wanted to take care of that. It went fairly smooth, I could see that the water was getting in where the original housing was cut open to fit the TSX projector so, I used silicon to seal those areas.

I ended up taking my front bumper off to make the procedure a bit easier, and while I had the bumper off I finally figured out where this plastic support went. Seems to add much needed support where needed most on these M-Sport bumpers. With the bumper off, I also trimmed the bottom clips on the fog light delete panels for a better fit.

Just read through all 10 pages of this and all I can say is AWESOME.
Beautiful car and the work you've done on this is a credit to you.
I'm fairly dedicated to my E38's but recently I've been thinking a 540i/6 would be a nice addition the the family.

Good work, J-man.
Side note: the inside of your front bumper is 100% cleaner than any one spot on the entire outside of my E34
Spent some time Saturday with TGreene, and with his help we took apart a good passenger sport seat to save my driver seat. I wish I took a picture of how bad my driver seat was before re-skinning, but we got right to work, and I've avoided taking pictures of it in my ownership due to how bad it was.
Overall, straight forward, but I was glad to have Trevor's help.
Also, changed the spark plugs yesterday. First time since owning the car (They were replaced during the PPI right before I purchased the car) Been just over 25,000 miles. Definitely need to get my spare set of valve covers refinished and change the gaskets...
Mmmmm, minty!
do you have a pic with the fog light covers on?
Here you go, a couple shots of the delete panels

A couple updates - recently replaced power steering hoses, finally no more leaks! Also, another warranty replacement radiator from Mishimoto installed this past weekend, as well as a M5 plate filler. Tomorrow the car is getting a ceramic coating, then I'll be tackling a differential reseal, and valve cover gaskets.

Sweet aside from that garbage trash wastebasket two letter logo in orange on your wall...
I feel that once you go M5 filler plate, you never go back. It's so perfect.
