fuse or final stage unit.blower resistor or blower motor?

Just bought a 2007 x5 and without warning the a.c.-heater fan has stopped running. It displays fan speed bars but no fan runs. Before this AC worked.perfectly. So could be a fuse but what number fuse? Narrowed possible fuse may be three in passenger foot well area but turns out the access.to.the lower number fuses is.very.squeezed there so will not be easy.to pull and.replace.a.fuse.there. so.really wish.I knew.exactly what.fuse

Then could be fsu but the fact it.just quit makes be fear it.is not that

Then could be blower motor .... I haven't found a.x70 procedure.for.replacing.the blower motor but.it.sounds like this will not be easy.

So.seems I need.to.struggle.to.check the fuses and if.not.those replace the fish... if not.the fish then replace the blower motor .... if not one of those yikes give it.to.the stealership

Turned out to be bound up bearing on fan motor .... lubricated with a Mobil1 spray oil and it loosen up well enough to put.it back. Working just fine now if it fails again I replace the fan

Did you have to remove 6/7ths of the dash to get to the blower motor?
