    E34 M50B20 stroked to 2.3l + 30psi boost Triple turbo

Hi! My name is Raimo, im from Estonia and this is my car. Its from 27/02/1995 and i have been owning it for 5 years. This is what it looked like when i got it:

Short after i got it, i started modding it:

Then i wanted to make car faster and thats when i installed my first turbo. The turbo was a small Garrett TB2514 turbo from M51D25 engine. It didnt make a lot power but it was better than NA. I think it was about 200hp when i finished it.
    Low budget build:

Soon i wanted to make more power from this engine and i decided to build stroker using stock pistons, 135mm rods and b25 crank. Turbo was 16T from Volvo. I think i was making near 300hp.

About year after that this happened: Two K26 turbos from Audi.

    And i painted the car:

The powerband was terrible with those turbos and 2.3l engine. I wanted to built something that would spool up quick and last until rev limit. Something like this:
    http://www.bimmerboost.com/images/im...20597675-1.jpg
    And i did it:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OuJxAK8YMA&index=1&list=UUVEtbK87RKx5FqJs 7UfrHuQ

I have a lot of testing and tuning to do with this setup and i have some things i need to change like adding a valve to intake to bypass smaller turbos..

    So right now i have:
    M50B20 block
    M50B20 ported vanos head
    M50B25 crank
    M51D25 modded pistons and rods
    ARP head studs
Stock head gasket + gasket cement
    TD0411g turbos x2
    Holset HX55 from scania
    Intercooler from scania
630cc injectors that i have to change for bigger ones (near 95%DC at 30psi)
1x Bosch 044 and second one coming
    Sachs race engineering clutch
    And so on..

    Hope you like it

All the time i spent in estonia and i never got to see the mad car culture there. I gotta say though i dont think the bottom end is going to like that much boost for long.

I like that it's a unique setup. I feel like it would take some trial and error to get a setup like that working efficiently. I hope it works out!
But those wheels need to go, bro.

I can't believe you were able to cram that much stuff in that engine bay...

I actually really like the style of the car too, nice job man !

I like the latest styling of the car. It's different, but not retarded different. I commend your cobbling skills, but you are asking for a ton of headaches with that triple setup!

Wow, very interesting setup... Could that small turbo bypass valve just be a check valve? I think it would open up when the Holset is giving the small guys too much to eat. Although maybe it would be better to have a boost activated valve to avoid overspinning the small turbos to the point that they are choking.

Haha I sure love seeing something different like this, but don't you think 2 turbo's would have been enough for an efficient compound setup? sweet idea though. Always wanted to build a compound setup.

I wanted to build something different. Worlds first triple/compound turbo E34!
Does anyone know where i could get stronger/racing intake/exhaust valves for b20 engine? B25 Valvesprings should fit with b20 engine. I want to increase RPM limit, but too afraid to use stock valves.

on some sexy style 5's now
with a blue baby in the back seat (keep the windows rolled down so she can breathe)

    but
    show us the numbers.

    Where'd she land?
    dyno?
    1320 ft ?

We know that dippy did the double

I really wanted this update to be with some dyno numbers, but oh well. I promise next year.
Yes i still have the car and it runs great. I did blow a head gasket 6-7 months ago, but that was from my own stupidity. I ported the exhaust housings and wastegate ports to gain more exhaust flow. Didnt drive the car for a month and forgot all about porting and stuff. That made my AFR to go too lean and stuff happened. Also i did not have the boost gauge and AFR gauge installed on the dashboard because i wanted the dashboard to look stock. I knew that i could always connect my laptop to the ecu and see everything. (Or my phone with bluetooth), but i didnt that time. I also replaced my HX55 to new one.

I made a small video, i i hope you like it. (I have english subtitles)
I dont know when the next update is going to be, but thanks for the support.

477hp (5600rpm) / 670nm (4800rpm) @ 1.6 bar/23psi of boost. I have to revisit dyno because i had the n75 solenoid connected wrong and i did not get the boost to 2 bar.
