I'm BAAAACK!
You guys may remember my 4.6is;
I always thought my 4.6is was a badass truck^
so after a stint in the e34 section where I attempted to build a 500+hp 540i/6 Msport, it only seemed natural to come back to X, but with more horsepower.
Enter the X5M; BMWs factory X hot rod with 555hp!
The first upgrade was an Active Autowerks tune for an increase of 86 Rear Wheel HP and 117 Ft lbs of Peak torque!
This provided an awesome upgrade that you can actually feel!
Then I added BMW Performance black kidney grills and matching gloss black sidemarkers.
Next up; I have acquired a set of 22" BBS SVs in Titanium Gunmetal and a set of H&R lowering springs that are currently waiting to be installed.
So here is a little photoshop preview of the X5M lowered on BBS wheels;
Enjoy!

...and at VIR last weekend with the BMW club.
No they wouldn't let it on the track!

My wife is thinking of retiring her SL500 and she really likes the M4 convertible.

Todays update:
New Engine covers; The old ones were looking a little yellowed and tired so I bought new ones. Since the recently installed downpipes really cut down on engine bay temperatures, I believe these will stand a better chance of looking new longer.
BEFORE:
AFTER:
New Carbon Diffuser with Dimisa 3.5" tips
AND new addition to front end
(OEM Carbon lip spoiler!)

They're nice but would prefer a set of staggered wheels with a bit of a lip.
Your M-SAV already looks good as it is...love the stance!..... but I think those front and back diffuser with the right wheel combo....would be awesome!
I go sit in the corner now..............
Damn the splitter looks dope!
This thing came together so fast
Looking good man.

Your current situation is not your final destination
I liked the previous set of rims better. But, I'm not known to be the sharpest when it comes to making these decisions. lol. Good to see you still checking in Tim.
