Could you do mileage correction on an e36 m3 cluster for me since my shop seems to forget to do their work as ordered and wants to study up on e36 mileage coding first before I can come back. Could use this service regularly for other clusters. Thanks.

I've been asked about this before, but I just don't have any experience with the older e36/e34/e32 clusters. My understanding is that there is some kind of EEPROM plug that goes on the back of them or something, but I just haven't found that much information on them regarding swapping the chips inside like I have on the newer clusters. This is only the 2nd request for an e36 cluster I've ever received. Are you saying that you have a lot of e36 clusters that need this done?

These are awesome! I always loved the gauges in my m5! When I bought my 540i a couple years later, it had already been upgraded with m5 gauges! Definitely one of the best looking mods you can do!

Just had my cluster repaired and updated to M5 cluster - sent it on Monday evening and had it reinstalled in my car by Friday evening - another plus for Paul - great communications, answered all questions and did a beautiful job see pics

I just uploaded a new pic to the first post showing what the regular "Premium" M5 cluster looks like lit up with yellow/amber LEDs. This is mainly for comparison to the red/orange LED swap in the other pictures.
I still have a bunch of clusters as well as black gauge faces. Remember, I can do just the black faces upgrade ($150) and/or LED swaps ($100 by themselves or $50 with other work) on your current cluster if you would like. You can also upgrade your current cluster to a "premium" cluster for $300 (M5 or non-M5 clusters apply).

What's involved in replacing the yellow for orange LED? Do you send the bulbs or do I have to send my entire cluster?
