No paint work other than original. But it needs new paint on both bumpers, needs work on sunroof, and door panel (bottom) -- I have the parts for the door panel once the sheetmetal is fixed.

I'll get more photos. But I have a feeling this will sell quick. I put it up on CL and have a dozen messages (was away for weekend). Who knows if any of these guys are legit (some seemed spammy) but maybe I priced the car to low :-) I'm sort of surprised, but sort of not, I guess. I really loved the car (when it ran) -- the engine is in great condition. Now the shop where I would occasionally take it is interested too.

Now I have a relative that wants to buy it, restore it to new. Some crazy scheme -- sourcing out all original leather for seats, yada yada. I like that idea, but part of me just wants to get rid of it. I've got another one I'd also like to sell.

Hey guys -- I had lost pink slip on this -- finally got around to getting another copy. I've been so busy with work that haven't even thought about getting rid of it. But I'd like to get it out of my lot at some point. Available to be viewed in South Bay section of Los Angeles Mon-Fri (8am-5pm).

I will post more photos when I can. Just wanted to bump this up because I originally had a lot of interest when first listed.

You mentioned it does not run. Any idea why?

Sorry, to be clear. It starts, the engine runs, but obviously with the flywheel prob, it's very difficult to get into gear.

If you were closer I'd be all over this.
Have you checked the clutch hydraulics? Your description above indicates the clutch not disengaging, not a flywheel problem, usually because no pressure applied to the slave from lack of fluid(shares the brake reservoir)from a leaking slave cylinder or a failed clutch master cylinder. Usually a cheap fix too.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue

    Update:

video of the engine. Not the best sound here (a lot of ambient noise outside) but gives you an idea.

Been thinking of getting one of these. I would like it to be drivable though. Might be why it hasn't sold? I'll think on it.

Still unsure of the clutch problem? This could be quite an easy fix and better sale if it's just the hydraulics, like Ross was wondering.

He's a real asset to the community). But my thinking at this point is it's sitting in my lot. It's not killing me being there, but I'd like to get rid of it at some point, get what I can get for it with as little effort as possible. I'm thinking of eventually listing it on eBay motors. I had thought that given the low mileage, the generally good condition of the engine, and the fact that I had replaced almost every component on undercarriage (including four new tires) that that was enough to get what I was asking. Obviously those who it would appeal to are enthusiasts and enthusiasts aren't going to spend that kind of dough! We'll see. I'm thinking if it doesn't sell, I'll start the bidding on eBay for about $1000 and see if it goes anywhere.
I'm very interested in the car and have been looking for a clean 535 manual. Id love to get it but like I said the shipping is the expensive part that's got me pulling back. let me know if you can help out any way. PM me thanks!

I'll say it again, look at the clutch hydraulics. Fluid low? Dripping from the bell housing? Failed slave. Fluid full and no leaks is internal seal failure of the clutch master. Clutch master can also leak externally but is not the usual failure mode.
Just bleeding the system might get proper clutch actuation back, for a while.
If you can at least demonstrate a simple fix needed you'll be well served. Unless drivable it's worth little.
If you were local I'd help you fix or buy it.
