    Floor Mat Options?

Wondering what aftermarket floor mat sets people have tried for the E34 since the BMW mats are not longer available (except black maybe)?

BA has options from $75-200, but dont know how good they are, and I'd prefer not to spend far over $100. It would also be nice if they had clips or velco pads to use the mounting points.

    Thanks

I have the BA mats. Had it for over a year now, very rugged. Has mounting points to clips into the floor but does not come with any. I don't use the clip. They got perfect and don't move around either.

I think mine are from an E39 or something, came with car. They don't really fit right and shift around a bit, but overall it's decent.

BA rubber mats here for this winter, love 'em for ~$80 shipped. Perfect fit.

Mine are the All Weather rubber. I guess they're cheaper than I said, $65 + shipping.

I paid $10 for a set from Drug Mart and they are all fine except for the driver. Real PITA with the gas pedal hinged at the floor and it is too long and has to be tucked under the seat which barely fits underneath and slides around too much.

I'm also wondering about E34 floor mats... FCP Euro still had "genuine BMW" mats listed. Before ordering, I decided to contact their customer service first, and sure enough:

"Thank you for your inquiry, and welcome to FCP. Unfortunately, 82111466947 is in fact discontinued and no longer available from BMW. I'm not sure what the availability on other floor mats for the E34 is but it's likely going to be the same scenario due to the vintage of the vehicle."

I don't think of a '93 as "vintage" but I guess it is over 20 years old...

Yeah, same thing happened to me an an ECS order. I ended up with some ones from Bav, they dont have clips, been meaning to rig something up as drivers slips forward. I also got weathertech winters which can be clipped in. Really with I had BMW genuine ones though.

I have a set of the black rubber Bavauto mats in my 530i. Perfect custom fit with hooks, good quality, great price, durable, but not very luxurious, and you can have them in any color you want as long as it's black...

I bought a set of Lloyd's Truberber mats for the wife's RX350, and I may get a set for the 540iT when it's ready. These mats are not cheap at $155 but are really nice mats that are durable (but not rubber) and very luxurious.

Maybe I'll buy a set of both...

I just ran all the numbers for the e34 and the only part still available is 82111466935 (silver). BMW shows 26 available in the states.

I'll probably get some rubber bavauto mats as well. I know Racing Dynamics still sells E34 mats as well.

The silver are more than acceptable with the black interior. I've grown to like mine quite a bit....

sheeeit, I might even grab a backup set since they are the only genuines still available.

I'll add to this thread and confirm I've been on the look out for a new set of black mats... So hard to find anything, even used.

You can still find OEM ones on ebay.de from time to time; plenty of decent-looking, decently-priced aftermarket ones there, also... Here's one option, for example:

    http://www.ebay.de/itm/Fusmatten-fur...75.c100623.m-1

Mine are still in good condition, but I might get a set just in case, you know... (yeah, hoarding mentality )

This one doesn’t look OEM. I got Lloyd mats (their middle priced option). They are OK but next time I would go for most expensive one because I like plush

For cloth +1 for the CATuned mats, very nice fit and finish with an OEM+ look on the driver's side with the graphic. The Alpina mats are also fantastic if you can find them, but they are a pretty penny.
