    Justa5 in Japanrot.My Touring

I've owned my 525i Touring since the summer of 2011. I bought it for my oldest Son to drive. He wanted a 1000hp Supra.
Yea right I was 17 once. Well I ended up with it after a year. Something about grades in School.

I never started a thread on it. So,

Replaced front suspension last summer with Meyle HD and Lemforder parts. Also installed Fortune Auto Coilovers
I replaced rear suspension past couple weekends. All Lemforder parts except I installed Thayer Motorsports upper adjustable links.
Beautiful pieces and worth every $$.

I recently purchased RVAE34's Varrstoens and sand blasted them.

Got them from the powdercoater tonight,

I have Conti DW ordered. 245-35-19 fronts and 275-30-19 rears. Cant wait.

Off to a good start for the summer

Awesome! I saw another JapanRot Touring on the Bay Bridge here in the Bay Area about a month ago - 5 speed with Black wheels. Such a beautiful colour in person.

    Thanks for the compliments guys.
The M-Pars on it are 18 reps and starting to look pretty beat. I looked for the 19's for a while. The tires are a mismatched set and would need replacing this summer. The more I looked at RVAe34's wheels. The more I wanted Varrstoens and I like white wheels on a lot of cars.
RVA posted last Summer that he was looking for new wheels and I pm'd him then asking to keep me in mind.
I honestly thought he wouldnt find a new wheel enough to purchase. But it all came together.
Conti DW should be here Wednesday. The wheels look great in person. The white makes them look even bigger.

Looks really good Jim. I can't wait to see it with those white wheels. Will you be coming down to Columbus for Timmyfest again this year?

The wheels turned out fantastic!!!! The gloss white on japanrot will be stunning. I cannot wait to see them on the car!! The photos of them looking all fresh and new makes me really miss those things already.

Thanks RVA. I cant believe how great they turned out. I have hour and a half in each wheel sandblasting.
The powdercoater stayed till 8 pm Friday to get them done. He was flying out Saturday to Fla. for 10 days.
I really thought It would be another week or so. Tires should be in Wednesday.
I ordered Shadowline trim vinyl to blackout the chrome for now. Thanks again. Hope your wheels show up soon.

I had Conti DWS on our Mazda 6s and loved them. So I was leaning towards the DW. Plus I knew they would fit since thats what you had.
I have always bought take offs tires for my Touring. That was the main reason I wanted to go with new tires.

Wagon looks fantastic JP! What are the offsets if those wheels? I have a friend here that wants to get a set of those but is not sure what offsets will work on his E39 M5.

+20 front and +22 rear. I sent him the 12mm spacers up front to bring it to +8 for perfect fitment.

It is spot on. No problem in the back either ! I panicked for nothing.
I think my old rear suspension was so toasted. Their wasn't 3mm between the rim and passenger side frame.

WOW! Nice. Wasn't sure how White wheels would look. That is pretty stunning. I still think 19' wheels are the best fit for the wagons.

Thanks Aquila, I agree with the 19's. I due like 20' Alpina's on some e39's.
The Touring is Finally getting to where I want it to be. It was neglected for quite a while. I had a pretty good health scare a year or so ago.
But all is good. Taking care of some unfinished business now.
