Trying to sell a 318TI, any idea what it's worth?

Hey guys...I'm trying to help my sister sell her 97 318Ti. It's alpine white, standard, and has 58,000 miles on it. It also has the M-Tech body kit, 16" 5 spokes, and the California roof. Any help is much appreciated! Also, if anyone here is interested in it, please feel free to send a PM. Should have pics online by the weekend.

with the california canvas top it is worth a lot, also worth a little more as the sport edition and with the Mtech body kit. If it has the two tone cloth/leather interior even more.

    Sounds like a great car...

I'd estimate that its worth maybe $9,500 maybe higher maybe lower

They seem to be going for around 9 grand. So I'd say you're in the right range.

    Yup

Thanks for the help guys...it pretty much has all the options, and it does have the two toned leather/cloth interior. I was hoping maybe to get a little more than $9000 for it though, I was hoping more in the ballpark of $12K, but that might be a tad ambitious.

If you sell to a private seller, you might be able to get around 10-11K. 12K is a lot for a ti that is 7 years old.

If you wait you might be able to get more money.
The east coast seems to be getting less money for the ti than the west coast, so a lot depends on location.

I had a 98 ti with California Roof. I wrecked that one and later bought a 1996 328ti.
Someday I will probably buy a California Roof again. I really miss that car.
But first I need to see what the 2 Series will be like.

IMO you might get more for it in the general populous than here just because of the WOW factor of the cali roof in person. For me, I knew nothing about bimmers just saw that roof and probably paid too much. Do i regret it? Hell no!

I say put it in the paper for 10.5K and see who bites. I would actually consider upgrading to an M version but white is not a color I go for. Post it on 318ti.org too. Good luck- send me some pics!
