Time to create "The Roadster Cartel"

It appears that the Coupes keep going up in value, while we're at a solid holding pattern (better than declining). I think we can keep our values high by asking top dollar for nice examples with service records regardless of miles. Who's in?

If someone's willing to shell out near $63k for an awkward looking S54 coupe, surely a cartel arrangement could bring in $100k for its more attractive modern-day-cobra sibling. There's few enough of them on the market at a given time that EA could just start buying them out, given a hype incentive.... only after I stash away a few clean low mileage $20k S54 roadies.

I'm in. I don't think the Roadsters get the attention they deserve. They are really fantastic cars, all of them.

Au contraire, you can help a lot by keeping it listed perpetually at $100k so we can reference when buyers question our asking prices

In order to get more money for the roadster, you need to include a lifetime replacement warranty for the leaky roof.
White is Right, Steel Grey is OK, but Estoril is the only color that truly matters.

The roadster isn't weird enough (eccentric?) to warrant a cartel. We don't have an inferiority complex to need a "support group"!

I'm moving to Germany and can only take 1 car with me.

It would be tough for average Joe to know the difference between a well cared for enthusiast car versus all the rest being driven to death. Just wait, your fine Roady will go up and there will be a spread as they die off and become more rare. At this point it's about knowing what we have and enjoying it. I am more concerned with preservation while parts are available than my ROI. I do know one thing for sure, it's an awesome car and should be cared for. Using this car to buy and sell to make buck kind of makes me want to throw up.
