What's your deal on upgrades down the road. Planning on getting a new mid section and an M50 manifold. Should I wait until after or how would that work.

We charge a very nominal fee for a retune but given shipping and whatnot it may be ideal to just wait. or an alternative is to purchase a flashing cable with the tune and we can remotely reflash after you remod the car.

You shouldnt have any problems reusing the harness with a few slight modifications. We can reflash your 528i ECU to use it with the S52, i assume youre manual swapping at the same time? PM me.

Dyno Tuned a Forum Members M50man/S52 Cam M52 E30 Today. Stock headers and a ehhh exhaust setup.
Car Previously had a DesertBMW tune for said mods. The Hackentt/DesertBMW Tune is basically a off the shelf shark injected S52 tune, even though its running a 2.8. Fuel trims and load was off everwhere but luckily the ecu is smart so it still made decent power even with massive knock correction... Ill leave it at that.

Before on DesertBMW tune and after reflashing with our off the shelf and retuning from there.

Looking to do S52 cams and an M50 manifold in spring on my 328i. Any other mods I could wrap around that? 3.5" MAF and 24# injectors? Any benefit there from what you've seen?

    A 2.8 basically never 'needs' a 3.5"/24lb
And neither s52/m52 really picks up power from them....

Excellent. Good to know. I'd rather save my money for something like an exhaust.
I don't need to wring every last hp out of this engine. Cams, a manifold and tune sound like a huge bang for the buck.
I'll be in touch soon. Just waiting to have all the parts in hand and time scheduled to install it all.

Are there any benefits to coding out the SAI or anything else I should consider for basic bolt-on stuff?

What do you use to remotely re-flash the computer in case I ever decide to take the next step and do something... stupider and less fiscally responsible in the future?

Benefits power wise for coding that stuff out? No not really other than the ability to add headers... We can send cables with the ECU for remote relfashes you can do at home with any laptop with a USB port

What about just eliminating ews, secondary o2 and sas? Do you offer th see services without any custom tuning? Same price if so?
