I cannot find the fuel pump relay in the Bentley service manual. According to page 610-31, this is the layout of the relay box under the hood on the passenger side:
Relay C [DME Main]
Relay E [Unloader] Relay F [2nd Air Pump]
I assumed that Relay C was the starter relay. First, I tested the relay for the click-sound, and I measured its resistance. Both were good. However, before putting it back into the car, I just decided to turn the key to crank the engine anyway....and instead of doing nothing...it still sounded like the dead starter was trying start. Electronics were turning off and on. In the end, I am not sure if Relay C is the starter relay. And I also dont know where the fuel pump relay is. D:

Starter relay is built into the EWS module. Not servicable
Fuel pump relay is under the dash, driver's side.
Your symptoms sound of a low battery or a bad connection.
