The good ol' Blue Bridge in the pic there.
Probably my favorite drive is going to there. Just 10 minutes starting on 90, you already hit some spectacular scenes. This was my favorite when I went towards the beggining of fall. My mom and sister that day picked me up from school and we went down, I was annoyed since I forgot to bring a real camera so all I had was a phone.

I'm not up on my Audis, is that S5 the 4.2 or the 3.0T (s/c)?
    It's the 4.2
I know I'll get him once I finish a couple things on the car.

That's a cool pic, that place looks pretty cool when you're next to it.

You should call Ground Control and see if their touring camber plates will drop the front at all? Its so close to perfection. Even the euro trim can wait if the gap in the front is gone

Is that Cle Elum? That's a great drive and you averaged 77mph. Awesome. Car and photos look great

I think I'm going with some new shocks and springs. That'll be just enough for me.

Thanks, def needs a bit more to be what I want it to be.
The wind generators are further than Cle Elum, it's on I90 though. I had a pretty long road trip that weekend.

Cool thread to read! It makes me jealous to see how much better mileage you get with the 540 vs my 535...

Yea, pretty impressed myself at that. I would have gotten more if I drove more conservatively.

I saw that. If weather is nice and I get my brake master installed I'll come over.

Changed my plugs last weekend and the engine is running even smoother than before. Went with ngk plugs. $5 a pop.

Got some parts in the mail.
Took off the exhaust and driveshaft over the week, dropping the transmission tomorrow to finish the job.

Sachs clutch kit. Cheapest around was from rock auto.
Spent all weekend doing it, but it's all buttoned up now. If I were to do it again it would go significantly faster.

I read online it was around 100lbs. I'd say thats a good weight point, but it felt a lot heavier when you're under the car because of the shape.
I jacked the car up super high, put a piece of wood on the jack, pulled the tranny off and lowered the jack with the tranny. I was under the car supporting the tranny on its way down.

    Getting custom exhaust soon.
Gonna smoke my smileys and throw them on.

Things still on the wanted list, that will wait a little bit.
    -HIDs
    -Euro Trim
    -Lowering the car
    -Light tint
-Short Shifter (I should have done this with the transmission)
    -3.15 LSD

Getting some exhaust parts in the mail.

    Magnaflow 2.5" X-pipe

Also threw on a new serpentine belt. Whining noise seems to have disappeared after this, but it's hard to hear anything over the open headers. More exhaust parts coming in tomorrow, and new dual 2.5" exhaust set up coming up this weekend. I'm pretty excited.

Smileys will be going on the car as soon as I smoke them.

Scratched the original X pipe and dual resonators idea because of fitment, and went with a magnaflow X pipe muffler, two in one.

Something went wrong and clutch started slipping a little while ago. Thinking it might be the fact that I didn't change the flywheel, or that my rear main seal is leaking.
Getting a new clutch kit, new flywheel, and rear main seal. What else needs to be changed while I'm down there. I would prefer to not do the job a 3rd time.

Out with some old parts, in with the new. Annoying job to do the heater core, but I'm happy that it's done. 85 degree thermostat and aluminum housing. Got a few more parts in the garage, but the cold weather is not very motivating.

What's a better image hosting site, I'm tired of photobucket.
