    Broken tabs on CD43

I recently broke the screw cover tab on my CD43. I ordered new tabs thinking I could easily just replace it. Upon closer inspection, i noticed that i actually broke the pegs on the faceplate that the tab goes onto. Are there any solutions or methods to replace the broken pegs for this headunit?

Have the same problem. Anyone found a clever solution short of replacing the whole unit?

    Thanks,

Very small neodymium magnets like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/172935158572 and some ultra thin steel super glued to one side.

Thanks, I will try this and report back. I still have the little door, so I will attempt to epoxy it onto the magnet and hopefully the magnet will hold it in the recess.
